On Monday, Zillow announced that the current average 30-year fixed mortgage rate fell two basis points from 5.76% to 5.74%.
The 30-year fixed mortgage rate on September 9, 2024, was 5.85%, down 11 basis points from the previous week's average.
The current national average 15-year fixed mortgage rate decreased four basis points from 5.05% to 5.01%. The current national average 5-year ARM mortgage rate is up nine basis points from 6.00% to 6.09%.
