It is with great pleasure that Robert DeFalco, broker, and owner of Robert DeFalco Realty, Inc., announces the promotion of Michael Gentilesco, associate broker, from manager to Vice President of Sales and Operations. “Michael has shown to be dedicated and responsible with outstanding leadership skills during the most difficult time our company has experienced,” stated DeFalco.

A 20-year veteran Realtor with a stellar history of honesty, dedication, and ability to focus on the details of getting the job done, Michael rejoined Robert DeFalco Realty in 2006 as a Manager. “I was very excited to return to the company where I started my Real Estate career,” stated Michael. “I have great respect for Robert for keeping the course as a real estate company with a solid reputation for quality service and integrity.”

From his time working retail, Michael was able to make the change to Real Estate by applying the skills he learned as a manager responding to the needs of both staff and customers.

As a manager, with his large scope of business experience as the foundation to build a successful real estate career, he has been a great asset to the continuing growth of Robert DeFalco Realty. DeFalco has been extremely impressed with the high character Michael has displayed in his everyday company responsibilities.

Robert DeFalco attributes Michael’s success to his good nature and insight, along with his enthusiasm, humor, and a sense of optimism.

Recent events found every member of the Robert DeFalco team working and cooperating with each other for the benefit of the entire company. “As we come back from this pandemic, I am grateful for our strong management team led by Mike G and our support staff. Over the years, Michael has also been very involved with the State Island Board Of Realtors (SIBOR), serving on SIBOR’s Professional Standards Committee for 15 years, as well as a Board Director on the Multiple Listing Services for the past 7 years.  In addition, he serves on the By-Laws and Attorney Interaction committees. “It’s very important for me to be associated with and to serve on these committees. They not only protect our Real Estate community but also the buyers and sellers who expect and deserve to work with honest, trustworthy Real Estate professionals.”
