What is Today's Mortgage Rate?

National 30-year fixed mortgage rates go down to 5.80%


Zillow announced that the current average 30-year fixed mortgage rate fell eight basis points from 5.88% to 5.80% on Thursday.

The 30-year fixed mortgage rate on September 5, 2024, was 5.93%, down 13 basis points from the previous week's average.

Additionally, the current national average 15-year fixed mortgage rate decreased six basis points from 5.17% to 5.11%, and the current national average 5-year ARM mortgage rate is down nine basis points from 6.16% to 6.07%.
