This Saturday, August 9, at 7 PM, everyone at the Richmond County Country Club will be donning their best black and white attire for “A Night to Remember.” The evening is fashioned after Truman Capote’s high society dinner party of 1966 known as the Black and White Ball. The 5th annual event hosted by The Eger Foundation will be just as legendary with flowing cocktails, bubbling champagne, a five-course dinner, plus musical entertainment and dancing in the ballroom and on the terrace.
So why is The Eger Foundation rolling out the red carpet this weekend? Saturday evening will shine the spotlight on community leaders of Staten Island including Willian Fani, Dianne Powers, Mike Valenzo, Jhong Uhk Kim, and our very own Robert DeFalco! We’re proud to see his name amongst the rest as he is a hard worker who never tires. We’re not just talking about the realty office, either.
Robert DeFalco gives back by donating his time to American Cancer Society, American Diabetes Association, Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Meals on Wheels, March of Dimes, Habitat for Humanity, Autistic Children of America, Alzheimer’s Association, Staten Island Children’s Museum and Breast Cancer Research. To help his home state of New Jersey, he has also volunteered to help 150 homes affected by Hurricane Sandy. He’s earned the Peter Luger-style steak dinner, no doubt!
Tickets to the event are $225 per person. For additional information and to make reservation, contact Vienna Profeta, senior vice-president for development, at 718-989-3087 or 718-989-3089.
