Celebrating Halloween without a jack-o-lantern is like celebrating Thanksgiving without stuffing; it’s just wrong and not a world we want to live in. From the simple smiles to the more intricate designs, you simply cannot go without one of these Halloween classics. Every October, carved pumpkins sit out on porches and doorsteps in the United States. Gourd-like orange fruits inscribed with ghoulish faces and illuminated by candles are clear-cut signs that Halloween has arrived.
So since we love Halloween and pumpkin carving, we wanted to show you some of the most mind-blowing pumpkin carvings we could find.
Here we see an artist’s incredible rendering of the memorable singing scene from “The Nightmare Before Christmas.”
Here is an artist's really descriptive homage to Andrew Lloyd Weber’s “Phantom of the Opera."
Capitalizing on the whole lego craze, here’s an artist’s lego creation.
Surely we have fans of Maurice Sendak’s “Where the Wild Things Are”? It’s a timeless classic for children of all ages. Here’s an artist’s depiction of one of the more famous book illustrations.
With HBO’s popular hit series “Game of Thrones” sweeping the nation, it’s only natural that we see some sort of homage to dragons like this artist’s carving.
We don’t expect everyone to be as masterful as some of these artists, but we hope you put as much effort into making your Halloween pumpkin carvings as scary and ghoulish as possible. We at Defalco Realty wish you a safe and howling Halloween!
